Any deviation observed shall be reported to <br />the LPA and INDOT by the Resident Project Representative. <br />2.4 Cooperate with the LPA in dealing with the various Federal, State and Local Agencies <br />having jurisdiction over the project. <br />2.5 Assist the LPA and INDOT in obtaining from the Contractor a list of his proposed <br />suppliers and subcontractors. <br />2.6 Assist the LPA and INDOT in obtaining from the Contractor additional details or <br />information when needed at the job site for proper execution of work. <br />2.7 Equipment: Furnish all equipment necessary to sample and test materials in accordance <br />with INDOT procedures. <br />2.8 Samples: Obtain field samples of materials delivered to the site as required by the State <br />and deliver such samples to the appropriate INDOT laboratory office. <br />2.9 Shop Drawings <br />2.9.1 Receive shop drawings and falsework drawings and then forward to the Design <br />Consultant or INDOT for review. <br />2.9.2 Record receipt of reviewed shop and falsework drawings, specifications and <br />other submissions and maintain a file of all drawings and submissions, and check <br />construction for compliance in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br />2.9.3 Alert the Contractor's field superintendent when it is observed that materials or <br />equipment are being or about to be used or installed before review of shop <br />drawings or samples, where such are required, and advise the LPA and INDOT <br />when he believes it is necessary to disapprove work as failing to conform to the <br />Contract Documents. <br />2.10 Review of Work, Inspection and Tests <br />2.10.1 Conduct on -site inspections for the LPA of the work in progress as a basis for <br />determining that the project is proceeding in accordance with the Contract <br />Documents. <br />2.10.2 Provide on -site acceptance testing of materials in the manner and extent <br />prescribed by the latest edition of the INDOT Testing Frequency Manual. <br />2.10.3 Accompany visiting inspectors, representing Local, State or Federal Agencies <br />having jurisdiction over the project, and report details of such inspection to the <br />LPA and INDOT. <br />2.10.4 Verify that required testing has been accomplished. <br />2.11 Modification: Consider and evaluate the Contractor's suggestions for modifications in <br />drawings and/or specifications and report them with recommendations to the LPA and <br />INDOT. <br />2.12 Records <br />2.12.1 Prepare and maintain at the job site orderly files of correspondence, reports of job <br />conferences, shop drawings and other submissions, reproductions of original <br />Contract Documents, including all addenda, change orders and additional <br />drawings subsequent to the award of the Contract, progress reports and other <br />project related documents. <br />2.12.2 Keep a diary or log book, recording hours on the job site, weather conditions, list <br />of visiting officials, decisions, general observations, and specific observations <br />CITY OF SouTH BEND PAGE 2 OF 4 APPENDIX "A" <br />WMUNTING`CONTRACTS�SOUTH BEND\2190322 CORKY BLVD IRONWOOD DR ROCKNE RD`SOUTH BEND\AGR WITH CITY 082119„DOC 219-0322-OCE <br />
