The Chicago URA office has approved Change Orders 5, 6, and 7 URA Approval <br />for street improvements and left turn openings in the Sample Street of Change <br />project, The Commission has approved Change Orders 5 and 6, but Orders 5,6,7 <br />has not formally approved Change Order 7. Therefore, on the motion <br />of Mr. Louis and the second of Mr. Kompar, the Commission voted to <br />approve Change Order 7, which provides for left turn lane from <br />Sample Ptreet to Catalpa, at an estimated cost of $3715. <br />5. <br />Acquisition appraisers have been contacted to do work for R-57, <br />LaSalle Park Project. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. The proposed city budget for 1966 was reviewed by Mr. Chong, <br />concerning expenditures other than salaries. Salaries totaling <br />$87,100 for 1966 were previously discussed with the Commissioners. <br />It was reported that generally we are in keeping with the budget <br />submitted last year. It was also noted that consultants' fees <br />for con racts total $106,000, a large increase over last year's <br />figure.
