COMMUN: <br />Upon analy <br />is of the tabulation and analysis report <br />submitted <br />DEMOLITION <br />by Clyde E <br />Williams & Associates, Inc. on the bids <br />submitted <br />CONTRACT <br />for the de <br />olition of parcels in the Indiana.R -29 area., <br />the <br />AWARD <br />Commission <br />on motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. <br />Helmen, <br />IND. R -29 <br />awarded the <br />demolition corAract, subject to HHFA concurrence, <br />to Rieth -R <br />ley Construction Co., Inc., P.O. Box 775, <br />South Bend, <br />Indiana, oil <br />parcel assignment and no- burning basis, <br />covering <br />Divisions <br />'A" & "B" of the demolition specifications <br />at a. total <br />cost of $87,630. <br />Upon motioll by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Commis- RESOLUTION <br />sion adopted Resolution No. 98, amendment to Resolution No. 90, NO. 98 <br />entitled: "Resolution of the City of South Bend Redevelopment AMENDMENT TO <br />Commission Approving the Undertaking of Surveys and Plans for RESOLUTION <br />an Urban Renewal Project and the Filing of an Application ". NO. 90 <br />Resolution No. 98 is httabhed- -an& hereby made a. part of these <br />minutes. <br />5. BID <br />ESTATE R -7 <br />On motion y Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Helmen, the Commission UNITED <br />rejected t e bid of United Beverage Co., Inc. of South Bend, BEVERAGE CO. <br />Indiana., p .rcel 1(h), inasmuch as the bid price of 21.2¢ was PARCEL 1(h) <br />below the 3.7¢ minimum HHFA concurred in price for reuse. REJECTION <br />6. OLD BUSINESS <br />The Commis ion was informed that after the present meeting, CLEMANS <br />transactio completing the sale of a parcel of land to Clemans REALTY, INC. <br />Realty, In . in the Inner Belt Industrial Park Area, parcel 2(a) PARCEL 2(a) <br />for $100,138 is to take place. <br />Redevelopm nt Commission policies relative to department employees DEPARTMENTAL <br />were discu sed with recommended changes and will be reintroduced POLICIES <br />for adopti n at the next regular meeting. <br />The Commis ion has taken under advisement two prospective office CENTRAL <br />locations and will render decision after further analysis and OFFICE <br />recommendation by Commissioners Kompar and Helmen. LOCATION <br />7. NEW BU INESS <br />On motion y Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Commission WRITE- OFFS <br />unanimous) approved the write -off of delinquent rentals as un*, IND. R -7 <br />collectablF on the parcels listed below: (RENTAL) <br />William hxnold, parcel 12 -65, delinquent in the amount of $108.1 <br />Uncollec able due to unemployment and tenant is elderly.
