PROIE S S REPORT <br />Mr. Nowak <br />reported that demolition contracts for the <br />DEMOLITION <br />Chapin Street <br />Indiana R.29 Project Area should be in <br />CONTRACT <br />final dr <br />ft form in another two weeks for review by the <br />IND. R -29 <br />commission. <br />The General <br />Neighborhood Renewal Plan for,the LaSalle <br />LA SALLE <br />Park Indiana <br />R -41 Project Area.was approved by the City <br />PARK <br />Plan Commission <br />September 14. They are to be submitted <br />IND. R -41 <br />to Chicago <br />Regional Office for approval. <br />GNRP <br />Ninety-five <br />parcels have been closed; 13 options have <br />IND. R -29 <br />been signed; <br />and 19 options are to be obtained, accord - <br />PROGRESS <br />ing to r -`pore <br />by -.Mr. Nowak.- <br />REPORT <br />Mr. Scott <br />reported that at the present time there " -is a <br />RELOCATION <br />workload <br />of 12 families, and 9 businesses. The potential <br />REPORT <br />workload <br />is 33 families, 16 businesses, making a grand <br />IND. R-29 <br />total of <br />45 families and 25 businesses. Mr. Scott also <br />stated t <br />t delinquencies in rental payment are being <br />investigated <br />by his office and that the investigation <br />shows that <br />the reason for rental delinquencies in most <br />cases is <br />lack of employment and /or Township recipients. <br />9.
