Root, president. <br />Prelsent: <br />I. <br />Roy B. Root, President <br />Dean J. Wilhelm, Vice President <br />Mrs. J. M. Curtis, Secretary <br />A. J. Kromkowski <br />Byron W. Sheets <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />On otion duly made, seconded and carried, minutes of the meeting <br />of ebruary 11, 1964 were read and approved. <br />On otion duly made,. seconded and carried, minutes of the meeting <br />of �ebruary 17, 1964 were read and approved. <br />II.I RESIGNATION OF WILLIAM J. BROWN. REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONER <br />Mrs. Curtis read a letter of resignation from William J. Brown, <br />Redevelopment Commissioner, who will be relocating in Hartford, <br />Connecticut. On motion by Mr. Wilhelm, seconded by Mr. Kromkowski, <br />the Trustees unanimously accepted the resignation of Mr. Brown <br />effective August 15, 1964. <br />On otion by Mrs. Curtis, seconded by Mr. Kromkowski, the Trustees <br />una imously agreed that a letter of appreciation be sent to Mr. <br />Bro n for a job well done. <br />IIII. APPOINTMENT OF NEW COMMISSIONER <br />Mrs. Curtis nominated Charles Ashe for Commissioner. Mr. Wilhelm <br />nom -nated Stephen E. Kompar, Jr. for Commissioner. <br />A Vote of three to one elected Stephen E. Kompar, Jr. as the new <br />Commissioner for the Department of Redevelopment. <br />The Secretary was authorized to notify the Mayor, Lloyd M. Allen, <br />of 9r. Komparis election, with copies to Mr. Kompar, City Clerk, <br />and Commission President. <br />IV.I REGRETS TO MRS. SUCHER <br />Mrsl. Curtis was authorized to send a letter of sympathy by the <br />-1- <br />
