III, <br />IV. <br />TRAVEL - RESOLUTION #78 - Continued <br />Actual cost of transportation, taxi fares -, telephone calls <br />and similar items incidental and necessary:to,the performance <br />of >fficial business while traveling shall be reimburseable, <br />and shall not be included in the $25'„00 limitation. <br />T' <br />Mr. Such r submitted the resignation of the Relocation Director, <br />Mr. Charles Davis and upon motion made by Mr. Brown,tseconded by <br />Mr. Wiggins, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />BE IT RESOLVED, That the resignation of Mr, Charles Davis <br />as e location Director is hereby accepted with regret, <br />and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Commission does hereby <br />commend him for the excellent job he has done as Reloca- <br />tion Director for the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />and extend to him our best wishes in success in his future <br />ende1avors. <br />Mr. Sucher suggested that Dorothy Howell be assigned the position <br />as Acting Relocation Director. <br />seconded <br />On motion made by Mr. Wiggins and/by Mr. Helmen and unani- ASPOC <br />mously carried, it was approved that Mr. Sucher and Mr. CONFERENCE <br />Hammerschmidt attend the American Society of Planning IN BOSTON <br />Officials Conference in Boston April 5 - 9. <br />On motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Brown, and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission resolved to request <br />City Plan ing Associates to submit a proposal for the first <br />phase of the LaSalle Park Project which is completion of the <br />General N ighborhood Renewal Plan for the LaSalle Park Area <br />plus prep ration of an application for a survey on planning <br />for the fist project. <br />On motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Brown, it was <br />unanimously carried that the contract with Clyde Williams & <br />Associates for borings in the LaSalle Park Area be signed <br />and aDDro ed. <br />am <br />LA SALLE <br />PARK AREA <br />R -41 <br />CLYDE <br />WILLIAMS <br />ASSOC. <br />R-41 <br />
