All rail maintenance, rehabilitation, and other work on mainlines, sidings and <br />service lines that are let by railroad companies, transit commissions, transit authorities, <br />public or private owners of such facilities, which includes but is not limited to the <br />following and work performed will be paid for under the wage rates contained herein. <br />(a) The replacement of components and adjustment in alignment of grades of <br />existing rail facilities. <br />(b) Repair or replacement of components of fences, cattle guards, snow sheds, <br />motor car set off, and other facilities located on railroad, public or private <br />properties, and right-of-ways of same. <br />(c) The care of railroad and transit commissions and transit authorities owned <br />properties, public or private, including patrolling, inspection, mowing, brush <br />cutting and spraying, drainage work and all general caretaking work. <br />(d) The repair or replacement of roadway or railway crossings. <br />(e) Painting and replacement of components of railway bridges and signal lines <br />and signs. <br />(f) All emergency work, such as snow removal, flood damage, damages <br />occurring on derailments, including all clean-up and repair in connection <br />therewith which may be performed by the Employer. <br />(g) All maintenance, rehabilitation, track removal and other work that may be <br />performed for the railroad companies and transit commissions and/or transit <br />authorities on their properties, or on public and private properties, including <br />34 <br />
