II. <br />TION OF OFFICERS - Continued <br />Mr. Helpten nominated Mr. Wiggins for the office of Vice President. <br />Mr. Koc an seconded the nomination and Mr. Wiggins was unanimously <br />elected Vice President for the year 1964. <br />Mr. Koc an nominated Mr. Helmen as Secretary for another year. <br />Mr. Wig ins seconded the nomination and Mr. Helmen was unanimously <br />re -elec ed Secretary for the year 1964. <br />III. R] �SIGNA <br />BAER - LPA ATTORNEY <br />Mr. Baez submitted a letter of resignation to the Commission, giving <br />as his zeason the increase in work load and responsibilities. The <br />Commission accepted the resignation and unanimously commended Mr. Baer <br />for the meritoreous service and excellent job he has done in represent- <br />ing the Commission legally. <br />Heartfe t thanks were expressed to Messrs. Virgil A. Place and Clyde <br />E ' Will iams, retiring- Commissioners, Thomas Hickey, Sr., and Jack J. <br />Kohen, etiring- =Trustees, as well as to Mr. Baer. <br />IV. <br />OF ATTORNEY <br />On motion made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Koczan and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission appointed Mr. Bruce C. Hammerschmidt as Counsel <br />for the Commission for the year 1964 at a retainer fee of $2400. <br />Contracts are to be drawn with him for specific work on land acquisi- <br />tion anq other phases of projects. <br />V. APPOINTMENT 0 <br />Mr. Wiggins moved that the staff be reappointed for the year 1964 at <br />present salaries, with the exception noted below. This motion was <br />seconded by Mr. Koczan and unanimously carried. The Executive Director <br />is to recommend staff changes as they may become desirable. <br />-2- <br />
