IV. <br />REPORT - Continued <br />The LaSalle Park survey team of Parkins, Rogers & Associa- LA SALLE <br />tes, Inc. is now in the field. They will complete the field PARK <br />work this week and will have to collate all their data. In ELIGI- <br />a month or so, they will be ready to give a final report. BILITY <br />A total <br />of 50 parcels are <br />under <br />option in the Chapin Street <br />ACQUISI- <br />Indiana <br />-29 area. It was <br />also <br />announced that the Reloca- <br />TION <br />tion Field <br />Office for the <br />area <br />is now officially open. <br />REPORT <br />On motion made by Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Place and RELOCATION <br />unanimously carried, the employment of Mrs. Dorothy Howell AIDE <br />was approved as a relocation aide in the Chapin Street APPROVAL <br />Indiana -29 area on a three -month probationary basis. <br />The sala y for this position is $3,720 a year. <br />Mr Lawr nce I. Serkes, President of Leer Realty, appeared <br />before tie Commission requesting approval that Catalpa <br />Street bB left open from Kerr to Sample Street in the <br />Indiana -7 area, to allow access to the buildings of the <br />H & G. roperties. On motion made by Mr. Koczan, seconded <br />by Mr. W.11iams, and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />agreed t at this street be allowed to remain open, <br />The Commission also approved the temporary right of use by <br />the owners of H. & G properties of an area approximately <br />50' by 1)0' in the Sample Street Project Indiana.R -7 area <br />for park'ng of vehicles and loading and unloading of passen- <br />gers, in order to eliminate traffic and pedestrian hazards <br />during the reconstruction period on Sample Street.
