IV. JAPPROVAL OF CONTRACTS WITH JANITOR AND COLLECTION AGENCY <br />The Commission, on motion made by Mr-, - Helmen 'seconded by <br />Mr. Williams and unanimously carried, approved a revision <br />of the Janitorial Contract =`with Susan='Presits inasmuch as <br />services are to be performed-hereafter only at the Main <br />Offi e of the Redevelopment Commission" 129 W, Co-1fa.x Ave. <br />for total number of ten (10) hours' per' week, at the rate <br />of.$ 4.00 per month. _. <br />Upon review, the Commission also approved, on motion made <br />by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Helmen and unanimously <br />carried, a proposal of the Federated Collection Agency <br />pert fining to their collection of past-'due* °balances due <br />the City of South Bend Redevelopment Department. All <br />accotmts are to be collected on a 40 percent contingency <br />basis except those that are skips, require legal action, <br />are forwarded to an out-of-town agency and are more than <br />6 months old from date of entry. The exceptions will be <br />collected on a 50 per cent contingency. All monies col- <br />lect d by the Agency during any calendar month will be <br />remitted to the Redevelopment Department on the first day <br />of the following month. <br />V. RESOLUTION NO. 60 <br />On motion made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Koczan and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission approved the resolution <br />authorizing acceptance of the bid for land (Disposition <br />Parcel lc) in the Sample Street Redevelopment Area by the <br />Aerospace Corporation, South Bend, Indiana.. The resolution <br />is herewith attached and made a "part of these minutes. <br />VI. COOPERATION AGREEMENTS INDIANA R -29 <br />Mr. Sucher explained to the Commission that the Urban Renewal <br />Administration requiresra Corperation Agreement with the South <br />Bend Housing Authority, South Bend Board "of Works and the <br />South Bend Park Commissioners binding them to'make necessary <br />site improvements in the Chapin Street Indiana R -29 Area for <br />whic we are claiming credit. <br />Since none of these agencies have the right to make commitments <br />for f ture years contingent commitments will presumably be <br />accep ed. <br />am <br />
