RESOLUTION NO. 59 On motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Williams and unani. mou ly carried, the Commission approved a resolution amending the Urban Renewal Plan for Project No. Indiana R -7. The resolution is herewith attached and made a part of..the minutes. Mr. Helmen suggested that the Redevelopment Department contact the Truckers -' Association and request the privilege of presenting this request to them at one of their meetings. Mr. Sucher presented a proposed classified ad to run on CLASSIFIED a trial basis in the Michigan City, St. Joseph and Benton AD IND. Harbor newspapers advertising the Industrial Land in the R--7 Sample Street Project Indiana R -7 Area, It was suggested tha the ad be put in the "Business Property Section" and the phrase "near truck terminals" be included. It was dec'ded to make four insertions in the Sunday papers. It was reported that Mr. Ralph Newman suggested a joint PARK meeting between the Park Board and this Commission re-- DEPARTMENT gar ding the purchase of Park land. The Commissioners agreed that such a meeting should be set up in the near future.
