III. <br />CONTRACT FOR ADVANCE - IND R- 41(GN) (RESOLUTION NO. 51) <br />On m tion made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Koczan, and unani- <br />mously carried, the Commission approved the following resolution: <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF THE UNITED. STATES TO MAKE AN ADVANCE <br />OF FEDERAL FUNDS TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOP- <br />M8NT TO AID IN FINANCING THE COST OF PREPARING A GENERAL NEIGHBORHOOD <br />RENEWAL PLAN FOR URBAN RENEWAL AREA INDIANA R- 41(GN). <br />WHEREAS, under Title'I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended <br />and supplemented, the United States of America (herein called the <br />"Government") has tendered to the City of South Bend, Department <br />of Redevelopment (herein called the "Local Public Agency ") an offer, <br />hereinafter mentioned, to make an Advance of Federal funds to the <br />Local Public Agency to aid in financing the cost of preparing a <br />General Neighborhood Renewal Plan for an urban renewal area, designa- <br />ted Plan No. Indiana R- 41(GN), in the urban renewal area described <br />the ein, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Public Agency has given due consideration <br />to said offer, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Adv <br />II, <br />whi <br />Loc <br />Gen <br />siq <br />the <br />Section 1. The offer of the Government to the Local Public <br />cy, dated October 29, 1962 designated "Contract for Planning <br />nce ", Contract No. Ind.
