VIII. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 48 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY CONTROLLER TO <br />NOTIFY SUCCESSFUL BIDDER ON PRELIMINARY LOAN NOTE NO. 2 <br />TO BE SOLD JULY 24, 1962. <br />The Executive Director called the attention of the Commission to <br />the fact that an advertisement had been placed in The Bond Buyer, <br />offering for sale preliminary loan notes, 2nd Series, A, in the <br />princi al amount of $1,375,000, guaranteed by the United States <br />Government These advertisements called for sealed bids to be <br />opened on July 24, 1962, 12 P.M., Central Daylight Time, in the <br />presen e of the City Controller, Mr. Edwin L.
