PROGRESS REP( <br />Mr. Bielicki informed the Commission of a letter from <br />HHFA, Chicago, which reported on rent collection prac- <br />tices in the Sample Street Area. Generally, HHFA seems <br />to be satisfied. Their suggestions were, 1) to deter- <br />mine exactly what the situation is to relief recipients, <br />2) w should not automatically apply relocation payment <br />to b ck rentals. <br />The Commission, upon discussion, stated that in each <br />and Every case where the relocation payment will be <br />applied towards the removal of rental delinquencies, <br />theSE cases must be reviewed by the Commission before <br />any 4ction is taken. <br />On a motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Place <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission determined that <br />the time for the application for payment of Relocation <br />Clainis has been extended from four months to a period <br />of six months. This extension of time was granted so <br />that the applicants for the Relocation Payment would <br />have a greater amount of time available to them for the <br />submission of claims. <br />Mr, �ielicki reported that the following rentals were <br />due rom the persons listed below: <br />BADGER, Jodie,IParcel 9 -6. Paid $45 Relocation Claim <br />towards rent, still due $40.26.
