IV. <br />COST OF UTILITY CHANGES <br />Mr. Sucher reported that the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company <br />would like to get compensated for any utility changes that are <br />made necessary by the revision of the street plan in the Sample <br />Street Project Area Indiana R -7. The Commission recommended that <br />I & M Electric Company consult with the engineering firm of <br />Charles W. Cole & Son to determine the cost of this undertaking <br />and advised that a letter be drafted to counsel for the Chicago <br />Office of HHFA to this effect. Mr. McGill contended that under <br />federal regulations the government would participate in cost <br />incurred by the Electric Company in making changes and requested <br />time to submit a brief to the Commission showing that under Indiana <br />law the government would be compelled to make such a contribution. <br />V.
