Fry, for <br />the position of Real Estate Negotiator; Mr. Place made a motion to employ <br />Mr. Fry., Mr. Koczan seconded the motion and it was unanimously carried. <br />The annual compensation is $7200 and had been approved in the 1960 budget. <br />Mr. Fry will be notified of the starting date following the approval by.the <br />Urban Renewal Administration of acquisition of properties in the S am p 1 e <br />Street Redevelopment Project Area. <br />VI. IPIROGIRESS IREIPI IR T <br />Before signing the five -year lease with the Denniston Realty Company, as <br />prey 6ously approved by the Commission at the meeting of May 19, 1960, the <br />Commissioners discussed the advisability of encumbering funds for the term <br />of th lease. <br />On motionmade by Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Place, and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved retaining the present lease, in effect <br />until January 1, 1962. <br />Mr. Sucher informed the Commission that Part II of the Application for Loan' <br />and Grant would be submitted to the Housing and Home Finance - Agency in <br />Chicago on Monday, June 20. <br />Upon bids received from three local dealers on various makes of air con- <br />ditioners submitted by Mr. Sucher, the Commission recommended purchase <br />from the lowest bidder for three Fedders Air Conditioners installed for $710, <br />provided they proved to be .insignificantly noisier than the other makes con - <br />side ed. <br />Mr, Sucher presented a compiled list and recapitulation of the recommended <br />acquisition prices in the Sample Street project area to the Commissioners, <br />Foll wing a review and discussion, the Commission approved submitting the <br />recd mended acquisition prices to the Housing and Home Finance Agency in <br />Chic go for their concurrence. <br />3 <br />
