X D_AXMIRI[CCA ` IPIED]fitAJSAII„ (COIRIPOIRAYI[ON - (CQDW'Irl&AG;T <br />Two copies of the contract between the Commission and Mid- America <br />Appraisal Corporation for the study of transient housing in South Bend <br />were approved and signed by the President, Mr. Fred J. Helmen. Ser- <br />vices will commence upon May 5, 1960 and to be completed within thirty <br />co secutive calendar days from the date of Contract for the agreed sum <br />of 500.00. <br />VI. Q��I�'II(CIE AIL YMIRAT ONS <br />Considering the personnel additions to the staff and additional office <br />equipment to be housed, Mr. Sucher asked Mr. Neidigh to present his <br />plan and design for the needed improvements to afford continued effi- <br />ciency. . Following a discussion of the materials and labor estimate <br />su. mitted, and upon motion made by Mr. Place, seconded by Mr. Helmen, <br />the Commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of air conditioners, <br />electrical service, and necessary lumber supplies. It was also suggested <br />that a renewal option on the lease be obtained, or to. secure a three year <br />ex ension on the present lease. <br />VII. XIES®ILitUTII®N NO.. 1133 <br />Up n motion duly made, seconded, and unanimously carried, the Commis- <br />sion adopted a resolution declaring the Sample Street Redevelopment Proj- <br />ect Area unsuitable for residential reuse. Resolution No. 13 is hereby <br />attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />VIII. I Si ®1L,IIU'II'II ®LCA WO, . 115 <br />U F, on motion duly made, seconded, and unanimously carried, the Com- <br />mission adopted a resolution approving an urban renewal plan and condi- <br />tions under which relocation payments will be made for Project No. Ind. <br />R-7.
