5. <br />TRIII TO AIP CONFERENCE - SEATTLE <br />Mr. Suche plans on attending a national planning conference in Seattle from <br />July 26 thr ugh July 30 with his family. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Louis and seconded by Mr. Koczan to approve Mr. Sucher's <br />share of the travel expense, plus expenses incurred in connection with the AIP <br />Conference It was unanimously agreed upon. <br />Mr. Sucher also mentioned at this time that there should not be a necessity for <br />Washington 't=rips - that most of the trips would be to Chicago only - as all our <br />necessary information should be able to be supplied by the Chicago Regional Office. <br />There will a one other conference coming up toward the latter part of the year <br />in Cincinnati, which will be the annual NAHRO Conference. <br />6. RESIGNATION OF VERNETTA NOWLIN, RELOCATION WORKER <br />Resignation of Vernetta Nowlin was accepted. Miss Nowlin will be working full <br />days at the Housing Authority in the immediate future and will be unable to continue <br />her duties Nvith the Redevelopment Commission. However, she will be available <br />on call for Saturday morning work, and may become available for half -time work <br />again in the future . <br />This was agreed upon by the Commissioners. <br />7. PROIPERTY APPRAISALS <br />It was sugg sted by Mr. Helmen that bids from all interested parties should be <br />obtained before the Commission decides on any specific appraisers for the Sample <br />Street Area. <br />Mr. Sucherl will do this before the next meeting, and the matter will be taken up <br />again at th time. <br />MEETING <br />OURNED: 12:30 A.M. <br />Virgil A. /Pace, Pres <br />Fred- elmen, Vice President <br />
