Mr. Lou <br />bids fror <br />before pi <br />-2- <br />s mentioned that before we purchase the 1960 bonds we should obtain <br />L several insurance companies in order to determine a fair price <br />oceeding. <br />This ma er shall be taken care of prior to the December 159 meeting to enable <br />a report o be made to the Commission, so that they in turn can decide beforehand <br />with who and at what premium the bonds should be obtained. <br />z. <br />1KzSG1L, T]I0N IREGWZS;TIENG FEIMERAI , A1IDWAN(CE <br />The reso ution requesting federal advance, which Mr. Sucher had asked the <br />Commission to pass, would make it possible for the Redevelopment Department <br />to secure: an actual advance of federal money for use in planning the Sample <br />Street Renewal Project. The procedure to this point (up to the Relocation and <br />Eligibility, phase) had been to use City funds, two - thirds of which would be <br />credited, upon completion of the project, towards the City's one -third share <br />of the total project cost. ' <br />The changeover was made possible by the recent Indiana Rupreme Court decision <br />de-clarind the Redevelopment Statute under which we are operating constitutional. <br />Mr. Los made a motion to pass the resolution requesting the F ,pderal advance, <br />Mr. He en seconded it and it was unanimously carried. <br />Next the resolution will be taken up with the Council for their approval at their <br />Februaryf 9th meeting. <br />3. <br />P.�S SA ]E OF XZWIIS 1EIm 00- USIEMC. 0MIDIIIFA'.&0.NGIE <br />Copies o the Housing Ordinance had been mailed to the Commissioners and <br />Trustees prior to this meeting for their study and review. Mr. Lane, Building <br />Commissioner, was present to answer any questions pertaining to the Ordinance. <br />A discussion. covering the Ordinance followed, with Attorney Baer pointing out <br />that the main problem seemed to .be with the City Council questioning how much <br />authority the Building Department is given in regards to right of entry in making <br />an inspection. <br />
