shall keep in safe custody the seal of the Commission and shall have <br />power to *fix such seal to all contracts and instruments authorized to be executed by <br />the Commission. <br />Section 5. Executive Director. The executive director shall be the <br />administrative head of the Commission, and as such, shall have general super- <br />vision over the administration of its business and affairs, subject to the direction of <br />the Commission. He shall be charged with the management of the affairs of the <br />Commission. He shall not be a Commissioner. <br />executive director shall keep the records of the Commission, shall <br />act as executive secretary of the meetings of the Commission, and record all <br />votes, an4 shall keep .a record of the proceedings of the Commission in a Minute <br />Book to be kept for such purpose, and shall perform all duties incident to his office. <br />e shall give such bond for the faithful performance of his duties as the <br />Statute or the Commission may designate. His salary shall be fixed by the Com- <br />mission. <br />S ction 6. Additional Duties. The officers of the Commission shall <br />perform s4ch other duties and functions as may from time to time be required by <br />the Commission or the by -laws or rules and regulations of the Commission. <br />S ction 7. Election or Appointment. The president and vice president <br />shall be a ected at the annual meeting of the Commission from among the <br />commissioners of the Commission, and shall hold office for one year or until <br />their successors are elected and qualified. <br />e secretary shall be appointed by the Commission. Any person <br />appointed �o fill the office of secretary, or any vacancy therein shall have such <br />term as the Commission fixes. <br />
