Upon motion made by Mrs. Curtis, seconded by <br />Mr, Hickey and unanimously carried, the, Board of. Trustees reap- <br />ointed Fred J.. Helmen,. Clyde E. Williams, Sr., James G. Louis, <br />Frank G. Koczan and Virgil A. Place to the Board of Commissioners <br />or the 1961 term. <br />Mrs, Guy. P. Curtis was reappointed to the Board of Trustees by <br />Mayor Frank J. Bruggner on November 30, 1960 for a. term of four <br />years commencing on the first h onday of December, 1960 <br />Mrs. Curtis had been appointed to the Board on 5� -16 -53 for the <br />unexpired term of the deceased, 011ie E. Fries, terminating on <br />December, 1950. <br />The status on the terms of office of the Redevelopment Trustees: <br />Mr,-. Stanley 1. Mez kowski appointed on 10 -2 -56 for a term of <br />four years. <br />Ni ggy B Root reappointed on 11 -25 -57 for a term:-of four years. <br />Mr4 ,Thomas L Hickey, Sr reappointed on 2 -21 -59 for a term of <br />four years. <br />Mr i Jack T. Kohen reappointed on 12 -7 -59 for a term of four years_. <br />V. PROGRESS REPORT <br />It was reported that the Sample Street Redevelopment Project - Sample <br />Project No. Indiana R -7. is now in the acquisition stage, having Str____eet,� <br />obtained signed and approved options of over 100 parcels and <br />completed negotiations on 15 closings. The Commission _is <br />beginning to relocate families. Demolition and site improvements <br />are the remaining steps before the resale of land. <br />Following the approval of the Survey & Planning Application. of GNRP <br />the.Linden School Area General Neighborhood Renewal Plan, <br />the Department hopes to get into the planning stage shortly. <br />Upon motion made by her.
