APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />430 FUND SOUTH SIDE DEVELOPMENT <br />St. Joseph County Treasurer <br />Meridian Title Corporation <br />Total <br />1,820.44 <br />250.00 <br />$ 191,129.86 <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Blake <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the <br />Claims submitted November 2, 2007, and ordered <br />checks to be released <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />Mr. Inks asked that Item 6.G.(5) be added to the agenda. <br />There was no objection and the item was so added. <br />Ms. Jones noted that there are several public hearings on <br />the agenda, She reviewed the Public Hearing <br />procedures for the benefit of all present. <br />Mr. Peterson noted that there has been a tentative <br />agreement to provide the funding to widen Douglas <br />Road. Wells Fargo has yet to provide a final term sheet. <br />We still have our construction contract that we are <br />waiting to award and are unsure how long the contractor <br />will wait. Mr. Peterson asked that the Commission <br />again open the public hearing on Resolution No. 2391, <br />continue it, and recess and reconvene the entire meeting <br />to consider all items on the agenda related to the <br />Douglas Road widening until early next week. <br />The Commissioners agreed to meet again Thursday, <br />November 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 1308 of the <br />County-City Building to reconvene this meeting and <br />consider the Douglas Road items. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED NOVEMBER 2, 2007, AND ORDERED <br />THE CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />
