South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Rescheduled Regular Meeting -November 2, 2007
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Approval of Minutes of the Regular Meeting of
Friday, October 19, 2007.
Mr. Peczkowski made a motion to reconsider and
enter a correction into the Minutes on pages four,
five and six. He noted that if an error was made in
the acceptance of a petition, it is the parliamentary
right of a member of the voting majority to request
that the motion to approve be reconsidered. It was
stated by our Commission that the petition is
objecting to something for which there is no plan.
It implied that those circulating the petitions were
paying credence to rumors. The
Commission has not made a decision one way or
the other about demolition of Fat Daddy's. She
believed that was the spirit of the statement that
was made at the October 19 meeting. While
rumors and plans by individuals outside of this
Commission may have been stated or made or
published, this five-member Commission which
has the authority to make that decision, has not
made that decision. It hasn't even entertained
