Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council <br />2012 <br />The July 10, 2012 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was called to <br />order by Council President Derek D. Dieter at 5:15 p.m. in the Council's Informal <br />Meeting Room. <br />Persons in attendance included Council Members Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Dr. Fred Ferlic, <br />Oliver J. Davis, Dieter, Gavin Ferlic, and White, Mayor Buttigieg, City Controller Mark <br />Neal, Interim Police Chief Charles Hurley, Fire Chief Stephen Cox, PDUD Chief Jeffery <br />Walters, PDSD Chief Gary Horvath, FDAC Chief James Lopez, FDAC Chief Todd <br />Skwarcan, BPS President Patrick Cottrel, BPS Member Luther Taylor, Interim City <br />Attorney Aladen DeRose, Chief of Staff Mike Schmuhl, BPS Agent Ed Sullivan, City <br />Clerk John Voorde, and SBCC Agent Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand. <br />The Executive Session was called pursuant to the July 2, 2012, Notice of Executive <br />Session for the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to collective bargaining <br />relative to public safety employees pursuant to Indiana Code § 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b)(2)(A) <br />(copy attached) <br />This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that <br />contained in the July 2, 2012 "Notice of Executive Session ". <br />Council President Dieter adjourned the Executive Session at 6:15 p.m. <br />espectfully s bm' ted, <br />erek D.
