He will conduct
f -
solar energy modeling, including setting
standards and vetting
assumptions. Chris is responsible for
creating new tools and processes consistent with the latest industry
techniques, including bifacial modules and battery storage. Chris
will perform energy estimates on solar photovoltaic projects
ranging in size from 100kW to 100+MW. He will perform Measure,
Correlate, Predict (MCP) studies using ground -measured and
satellite irradiance data. He will also analyze plant operational data
to verify project performance and identify opportunities for
improvement. He is part of a team that reviews various solar
technologies (modules, inverters, etc.) and opines on their useful
life and degradation. Chris is responsible for construction
monitoring to ensure adequacy of utility solar construction sites. He
creates energy estimates using PVSyst and personalized tools to
account for site -specific complexities.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Four Brothers Solar Projects, Cedar City, UT
Acted as the development engineer for the design and optimization of the
plant located in rural Utah, The candidate worked on rnuiYtiple design
iterations In order to optimize the 320MWac plant, and participated in the
project financing, He performed a measure, correlate„ predict irradiance
study on the site using collected meteorological data, which was used in
the financing.
Pinal Solar Project, Pinal, AZ
Space Systems/Loral, 2006 — The candidate acted as a consultant during the design and development
2009 of the 20MWac solar plus battery storage project.
