This is EXHIBIT A, consisting of 8 pages, referred to in <br />and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer <br />for Professional Services dated , <br />Engineer's Services <br />Article 1 of the Agreement is supplemented to include the following agreement of the parties. <br />Engineer shall provide Basic and Additional Services, as set forth below. <br />PART 1— BASIC SERVICES <br />A1.01 ProjectReview: <br />A. The project area is located within Four Winds Field Stadium under the main concourse <br />B. JPR will provide the following information as it pertains to the inspection: <br />Establish and agree on with owner the project limits. <br />• With owner and paint rep input, decide on whether to remove exiting paint or not and by what <br />method. (sand, sand blast, or chemically remove) <br />• Determine the best plan for prepping the paint area and substrate (concrete, steel, wood). <br />Limitations <br />0 Until paint removal is complete, the condition of the substrate may not be known and may <br />require further action by both architect and contractor. <br />A1.02 Provide Paint Removal Specification: <br />ecification: <br />A. JPR will work with a paint representative to develop the best paint removal process and write a <br />specification based on these recomendations for bidding/quoting purposes. <br />A1.03 Provide Prep, Prime and Paint S ecificatio <br />A. JPR will write a prime/paint specification for painting the underside of the concourse for <br />bidding/quoting purposes. <br />A1.04 Bidding and Negotiation <br />A. Upon receiving the City's approval of Specifications, the JPR team shall provide the following <br />Bidding and Negotiation services: <br />1) Prepare a Notice to Bidders. <br />2) Address bidder questions and Request for Information. <br />3) Provide design addendums as necessary. <br />4) JPR will attend one (1) prebid and one (1) bid opening meeting. <br />5) Review bids and make recommendations to the Client regarding awarding the project. <br />Page 18 <br />(Exhibit A — Engineer's Services) <br />EJCDC E-500 Agreement Between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services <br />Copyright © 2008 National Society of Professional Engineers for EJCDC.
