T 0 <br />FRO] <br />Common Council <br />A: Henry Sucher <br />DATE: February 6, 1959 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Approving <br />Request for Federal Planning <br />Advance <br />The enclosed resolution you are asked to pass will make it possible for the <br />Redevelopment Department to obtain an actual advance of federal money <br />for use in planning the Sample Street Renewal Project. <br />The procedure to this point has been to use City funds, two- thirds of which <br />would be credited; upon completion of the project, towards the City-Is one- <br />third share of the total project cost. <br />The changeover is made possible by the recent Indiana Supreme Court <br />decision declaring the Redevelopment Statute under which we are operating <br />constitutional. <br />I <br />HSIm <br />Enc. <br />to attend the meeting and answer possible questions, <br />• <br />T <br />
