(R.esolution No. 5) <br />R 393 <br />ESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, <br />OVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUT14 BEND, DEPARTMENT OF <br />EDEVELOPMENT , <br />C <br />*PPROVING.AN URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR PROJECT NO. IND. R -? <br />WHEREAS, in connection with an application of the City of <br />South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (hereinafter called "Local <br />Public Agency ") for financial assistance under Title I of the Housing <br />Act of 1949, as amended; the Local Public Agency's approval of an <br />rban renewal plan for the project area involved in such application is <br />equired by the Federal Government before it will enter into a contract <br />r loan or grant with the Local Public Agency under said Title I; and <br />WHEREAS there was presented to this meeting of the South <br />end Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body of the City of South <br />end, Department of Redevelopment (hereinafter called "Governing <br />ody "), for its consideration and approval, a copy of an urban renewal <br />.an for said project area,. dated January 7 , 19-6D—, which <br />An is entitled "Urban Redevelopment Project, Sample Street Area" <br />id consists of nine (9) pages and five (5) exhibits <br />Lade a part thereof (said plan being hereinafter called "Urban Renewal <br />lan"); and <br />WHEREAS the Urban Renewal Plan was reviewed and considered <br />length at said meeting: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body <br />hat the Urban Renewal Plan be and it is hereby in all respects approved; <br />nd the President be and he is hereby directed to file said copy of the <br />Trban Renewal Plan with the minutes of this meeting. <br />J <br />( ignature) <br />President, South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission <br />
