i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 41 <br />TO NOTIFY SUCCESSFUL B <br />,R ON PRELIMINARY LOAN NOTES SOLD ON JANUARY 30, 1962. <br />he Executive Director called the attention of the Commis - <br />ion to the fact that an advertisement had been placed in <br />he Bond Buyer, the South Bend Tribune and the Record, of- <br />ering for sale preliminary loan notes lst Series, A, in <br />he principal amount of $879,000 guaranteed by the United <br />testes Government. These advertisements called for sealed <br />ids to be opened on January 30, 1962, 12 o'clock noon, <br />entral Standard Time, in the presence of the City Con - <br />roller, Mr. Edwin L. Davies. <br />r. Sucher stated that under the procedure outlined by <br />he HHFA, the City Controller would notify the successful <br />idler on the preliminary loan notes, after first secur- <br />ng approval of the HHFA. <br />n motion duly made by Mr. Fred J. Helmen, seconded by <br />r. Virgil A.
