No. 44 <br />That it is cognizant of the conditions that are imposed <br />in the undertaking and carrying out of such urban <br />renewal projects with Federal financial assistance <br />under Title I, including the requirements that a General <br />Neighborhood Renewal Plan conform to the Workable Program <br />of the community, as set forth in Section 101(c) of <br />Title I, and to a general plan of the locality as a whole, <br />as well as those: with respect to the relocation of site <br />occupants and the provision of local grants -in -aid. <br />That it is the intention of this body that the General <br />Neighborhood Renewal Plan will be used to the fullest <br />extent feasible as a guide for the provision of public <br />improvements in such Area and that the Plan will be con- <br />sidered in formulating codes and other regulatory meas- <br />ures affecting property in the Area and in undertaking <br />other local governmental activities pertaining to the <br />development, redevelopment, rehabilitation, and con- <br />servation of the Area. <br />That the filing of an application by the City of South Bend, <br />Department of Redevelopment for an advance of funds from <br />the United States in an amount not to exceed Eighteen <br />Thousand, Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($18,850) for the <br />preparation of a General Neighborhood Renewal Plan for <br />the Urban Renewal Area described herein is hereby approved <br />and that the President of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />and file such application with the Housing and Home Finance <br />Administrator and to provide such additional information and <br />to furnish such documents as may be required by said <br />Administrator and to act as the authorized representative <br />of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment. <br />Adopted at <br />ment ommission held <br />Commi sion, 129 West <br />(Seal <br />ATTES <br />Secre <br />the Special meeting of the South Bend Redevelop - <br />on March 22, 1962, at the office of the <br />Colfax Avenue, South Bend, Indiana. <br />J es G.
