III. <br />CONTRACT FOR ADVANCE - IND. R- 41(GN)(Resolution No. 51) - <br />Continued., <br />ection %1. Tile President is hereby authorized to file <br />requi itions, together with necessary supporting documents, with <br />the G vernment, from time to time, as Advance funds are required, <br />reque ting payments to be made to the Local Public Agency on <br />accou t of the Advance provided for in said offer, and to do and <br />perfo m all other things and acts required to be done or performed <br />in or er to obtain such payments. <br />5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately. <br />The P�esident then executed the Contract For Advance. <br />IV. <br />Mr. Sucher reported to the Commission that since Inter- INTERSTATE <br />state Demolition Corporation is not prepared to go along DEMOLITION <br />with our proposed moratorium, we shall continue to issue <br />them proceed orders according to the contract. The Com- <br />missi n decided to give no further extensions on the dead- <br />lines for completion of demolition of parcels which are <br />overd e. <br />The C mmission was advised that the Land Disposition <br />Commi tee recommends acceptance of the bid of Model <br />Coverall Services, Inc. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, for <br />the p rchase of 13,600 square feet in the Sample St. <br />Area Ind. R -7 for $3,223.20. On motion made by Mr. <br />Kocza , seconded by Mr. Williams and unanimously <br />carried, a special meeting was called for 11:00 o'clock <br />A.M., Wednesday, October 24, 1562, to consider a resolu- <br />tion pproving the proposal. <br />The C mmission was informed that a draft of Contract <br />for Marketability and Land Absorption Study for the <br />General Neighborhood Renewal Plan Area R- 41(GN) was <br />submi ted to the Regional Office for their approval. <br />Mr. Ir <br />submi <br />ture; <br />zcher reported that the Studebaker Corporation <br />:ted a renewable monthly lease to us for signa- <br />80,000 square feet of land to be used for park- <br />MODEL <br />COVERALL <br />SERVICE <br />MARKET- <br />ABILITY <br />STUDY <br />STUDEBAKER <br />CORPORATION <br />
