RESOLUTION NO. 55 <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />CONFIRMATORY RESOLUTION <br />CHAPIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, INDIANA R -29 <br />ADOPTED FEBRUARY 5, 1963 <br />WHEREAS, following the adoption of the Declaratory Resolution, <br />Chapin Street Redevelopment Project Area, Indiana R -29, by the South <br />Bend Re evelopment Commission on November 15, 1962, the same, together <br />with the supporting data, was submitted to the South Bend City Plan <br />Commission, which Plan Commission issued its written orders deter- <br />mining hat said Declaratory Resolution and the redevelopment plan <br />conform d to the master plan of development forthe City of South <br />Bend, aid approved said Declaratory Resolution and the redevelopment <br />plan; a0d <br />, notice of the adoption of the Declaratory Resolution, <br />Chapin otreet Redevelopment Project Area, Indiana R -29, and purport <br />thereof; of the fact that maps and plats were available for inspection <br />at the office of the Department; and that a hearing would be held on <br />2dwuary15, 1963, 7:30 P.M. EST, at the Council Chambers in the City <br />Hall, a� which hearing remonstrances and objections would be received <br />and hea d by the Commission and the public utility and benefit of <br />said pr ject would be finally determined by the Commission; which <br />notice as published in the South Bend Tribune and The Record once <br />each we k for two consecutive weeks, the last publication being at <br />least <br />W <br />said n <br />and he <br />or aff <br />the Du <br />(10) days before the date fixed for the hearing; and <br />such hearing was held at the time and place fixed in <br />ice for said public hearing and for the purpose of receiving <br />ing remonstrances and objections from persons interested in <br />by such proceedings, and for the purpose of determining <br />lic utility and benefit thereof; and <br />-1- <br />
