dilap <br />order <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT, CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF AD- <br />DITIONAL PROPERTY IN THE SAMPLE STREET PROJECT, <br />INDIANA R -7 . <br />Parcel No. 15 -6 consists of a substandard dwelling and a <br />ated loading dock which is not feasible to rehabilitate in <br />o conform to minimum codes of the City of South Bend, <br />and is not so dilapidated that it can be condemned; and <br />WHEREA , the existance of this dwelling and structure will prevent <br />the sale of other adjoining property belonging to the City of <br />South Bend, Department of Redevelopment; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of the <br />City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, that it is for <br />the best interest of the Urban Renewal Plan for Indiana R -7 to <br />acquire said property and demolish the structures; and <br />WHEREAS, said property can be acquired within the limitations of <br />the present budget; and <br />WHEREAS, under the revised Urban Renewal Plan for Project Indiana <br />R -7, mi or changes may be effected by resolution, as provided in <br />section D of the Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the owner of said property is agreeable to selling, and <br />it will not be necessary to condemn this property. <br />NOW, TH <br />COMMI S S; <br />demolit. <br />Agency. <br />Adopted <br />mission <br />129 Wes• <br />3REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />CON THAT Parcel No. 15 -6 be acquired for the purpose of <br />Lon subject to the approval of the Housing and Home Finance <br />at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Com- <br />held March 5, 1964, at the office of the Commission, <br />Colfax Avenue, South Bend, Indiana <br />
