RESOLUTION NO. 98 <br />RESOLUT ON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90, ENTITLED "RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />OF SOUT BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPROVING THE UNDERTAKING OF <br />SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR AN URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT AND THE FILING OF AN <br />APPLICATION", AMENDMENT TO ADD A WHEREAS CLAUSE AND AN ACTION PARAGRAPH <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH LPA LETTER NO. 318 <br />W REAS, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the regula- <br />tions o the Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating that Title, <br />provide that no person shall, on the ground of race, color, or national <br />origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or <br />be subjected to discrimination in the undertaking and carrying out of <br />urban refnewal projects assisted under Title I of the Housing Act of 1964, <br />as amengea; <br />, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOP- <br />MENT COMMISSION <br />That the United States of America and the Housing and Home Finance <br />Administrator be, and they hereby are, assured of full compliance by the <br />City of outh Bend, Department of Redevelopment with regulations of the <br />Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights <br />Act of 11964. <br />amendment to Resolution No. 90 adopted this 21st day of January, <br />1965, shill take effect immediately. <br />
