RESOLUTION NO. 104 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF HANSON <br />ENGINEERING COMPANY FOR LAND IN THE SAMPLE STREET <br />REDEVELOPMENT INDIANA R -7 AREA <br />WHEREAS, Hanson Engineering Company, by Hans A. Hanson, its owner, has <br />submitte a. written offer meeting the approved minimum price on Disposition <br />Parcel c mmonly referred to as No. 1(h), Sample Street Redevelopment <br />Project 4ndiana. R -7; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined-that <br />the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal <br />program for this area; and <br />WHEREAS., the land to be sold has previously been -offered for sale by <br />soliciti g..sealed bids, with no bids having been received for said <br />property, the Commission.therefore considers disposal of said land <br />by negot'ation..to be the-appropriate method of land disposition; and . <br />WHEREAS, the offer of 23.7¢ per square foot'by Hanson Engineering.is <br />sati.sfac.' ry and is not less than the fair market value for uses in <br />accordance with the Urban.Rene*al Plan; <br />NCW, THE <br />offer of <br />square f <br />is known <br />Adopted <br />held May <br />Avenue, <br />RE, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission accepts the <br />son-Engineering Company to acquire at a price of 23.7¢-per <br />and redevelop the designated Disposition Parcel 1(h) which <br />described as follows: <br />A part of Parcel No. 1 consisting of the South 140' ± and <br />the West 214' - of said parcel in the recorded plat of the <br />"Inner Belt Industrial Park ", containing 29,960 square feet, <br />more or less. <br />a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />1965, at the office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle <br />uth Bend, Indiana. <br />
