RESOLU ION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF UNITED BEVERAGE COMPANY OF'SOU H BEND, INC., FOR LAND IN THE SAMPLE STREET REDEVELOPMENT INDIAN R -7 AREA WHEREA , United Beverage Company of South Bend, Inc., by John R. Heintz lman, its president, has submitted a written offer meeting the approved minimum price on Disposal Parcel commonly referred to as qo. 3, Sample Street Redevelopment Project, Indiana R -7; and WHEREA , the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that t e acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved dispos 1 program for this area; and WHEREAS, the land 'to be sold has previously been offered for sale by soliciting sealed bids, with no bids having been received for said property, the Commission therefore considers disposal of said land by negotiation to be the appropriate method of land disposition; and WHEREAS, the,offer of 32.50 per square foot by United Beverage.Company of South Bend, Inc., is satisfactory and is not less than the fair market value for uses in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND_ REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer Of United Beverage,.Company of South Bend, Inca'', to acquire at a p-r °c of 3-1,.50.-per square foot and redevelop the des*pnated Dis- positi Parcel 3 -which is know and described as follows!
