ST. JOSEPH COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY DISTRICT BOARD RESOLUTION 2019-02 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF PERSONAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FROM THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Airport Authority District Board owns and operates the South Bend International Airport; AND WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana ("City"), acting by and through its Board of Public Works ("Board"), which exists and operates under the provisions of I.C. 36-9-6, desires to acquire certain personal property from the St. Joseph County Airport Authority (the "Authority"); and WHEREAS, the Authority holds certain personal property; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36-1-11-8, the Authority and the City may transfer or exchange property with one another upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity; and WHEREAS, the Authority's Board agrees to transfer the personal property described and attached hereto as Exhibit, A from the Authority to the City; and WHEREAS, the City's Board agrees to accept the transfer of the personal property as described and attached hereto as Exhibit A from the Authority; and WHEREAS, the Authority's Board agrees to adopt this resolution consistent with I.C. 36- 1-11-8. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Joseph County Airport Authority District Board as follows: The transfer of personal property from the Authority to the City as described in attached Exhibit A is hereby authorized and approved. 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the officers and agents of the St. Joseph County Airport Authority District Board be and they are hereby authorized to execute whatever documents may be necessary in order to effectuate the purposes and intent of this resolution.
