RESOLUTION NO. 306 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 WHERE , Billy W. Kirk has submitted a written offer meeting the approved minimu price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as No. 10 -26, LaSall Park Project, Indiana R -57; and WHEREA , the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program for th's area; and WHEREA , the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses the qualif' cations and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the land i accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and WHEREAS, the offer of $150.00 by Billy W. Kirk is satisfactory and is not less tan the offering price of the Commission for uses in accordance with the Ur an Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to and approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. NOW, T EREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer of Billy W. Kirk to acquire at a price of $150.00 and redevelop the des- ignatel Disposition Parcel 10 -26 which is known and described as follows: Lot 1031 in the recorded 3rd Plat of Summitt Place Addition, a Subdivision in the Southwest 1/4 and the Northwest 1/4 of Section 10, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Adopted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held August 7, 1970 at the office of the Commission, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, Room 1200 County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana, 46601.
