i <br />(574) 952-5808 PLYMOUTH, IN <br />There are several things that came to our attention as we were going through the City of South <br />Bend specifications for the Street Sweeper. <br />The Schwarze M6000 Avalanche Street Sweeper exceeds many of the specifications. There are <br />many things that Schwarze has done different after using this same basic design since 1982. It <br />has proven itself all over the world. <br />* Schwarze has quit using a joystick due to the cost of replacing it after several years of use. <br />They have updated to using rocker switches with limit switches to control the dumping <br />process in a less expensive and much safer way. In our opinion, we the exceed the joystick. <br />* Other sweepers boast on having a large hopper which does not do any good if you can't fill <br />them up. Schwarze Industries over years of manufacturing, has been able to make the <br />M6000 able to fill the hopper's usable capacity much more than your specifications require. <br />* The section that says the conveyor cannot be smaller than 60 inches is because their gutter <br />brooms are too small. The M6000 has a taller rear broom and larger gutter brooms to extend <br />the life of the brooms and sweeping surface. In our opinion, the M6000 exceeds in this area. <br />* The M6000 elevator has more flights to carry more debris <br />* The section in specifications that refers to torque to the broom — Once again our broom is <br />larger and covers more area. Also, several things can change the testing of inch torque — <br />heat — hydraulic oil — testing equipment, etc... In our opinion, the M6000 exceeds this. <br />* Through our years of experience, we've found that maximum dust suppression is a must. <br />This is why the M6000 only uses full on or off. In our opinion, the M6000 exceeds this part <br />of your specifications because there will be no chance of not using enough water. Therefore, <br />it gives you the best opportunity for a dust free sweeping environment. <br />* The M6000 paint and graphics come standard.
