RESOLUTION NO. 307 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN <br />THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />WHEREA , Samson and Clara Wilkins have submitted a written offer meeting <br />the ap roved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as <br />No. 22 17A, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and <br />WHEREA , the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the <br />accept nce of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program <br />for th s area; and <br />WHEREA , the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses the <br />qualif cations and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the <br />land i accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the offer of $205.00 by Samson and Clara Wilkins is satisfactory <br />and is not less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accor- <br />dance with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to <br />and approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer <br />of Samson and Clara Wilkins to acquire at a price of $205.00 and redevelop <br />the designated Disposition Parcel 22 -17A which is known and described as <br />follows: <br />The North 20 feet of Lot 430 in the recorded 2nd Plat <br />of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in the Northwest 1/4 of <br />Section 10 and the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, Township <br />37 North, Range 2 East, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Adopte at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held <br />August 7, 1970 at the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City Build- <br />ing, 2 7 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />Attest <br />C <br />4. <br />e V. w1 i n ams, Secretary <br />SEAL <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />C/_! , .
