RESOLUTION NO. 289 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF CHARLES <br />E. STAFFORD FOR LAND IN THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, <br />INDIANA R -57 <br />WHE i,AS, Charles E. Stafford has submitted a written offer meeting <br />the appr ved minimum price on Disposition Parcels commonly referred to as <br />Nos. 17- and 17 -36, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and <br />WHE AS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that <br />the acce tance of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal <br />program Eor this area; and <br />WHE aAS, the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses <br />the qual'fications and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop <br />the land in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and <br />WHE EAS, the offer of $1,488.27 by Charles E. Stafford is satisfactory <br />and is n t less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accord- <br />ance wita the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to and <br />approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the <br />offer of Charles E. Stafford to acquire at a price of $1,488.27 and re- <br />develop the designated Disposition Parcel Nos. 17 -1 and 17 -36 which are <br />known and described as follows: <br />17-1: Lot 147 except the South 20 feet thereof and Lot 148 in <br />the recorded 2nd Plat of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in <br />the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9 and the Northwest 1/4 of <br />Section 10, Township 37 North, Range 2 East, in the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana. <br />17-36: Lot 145 in the recorded 2nd Plat of LaSalle Park, a <br />Subdivision in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9 and the <br />Northwest 1/4 of Section 10, Township 37 North, Range <br />2 East, in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Ado <br />held Mar <br />227 West <br />ATTEST: <br />Rev. <br />SEAL <br />)ted at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />:h 20, 1970, at the office of the Commission, 1246 County -City Bldg., <br />Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />ie V.
