Main St, Ste, 300 <br />South Beirid, IN 46601 <br />�:::bha: nel 574 234_8619 <br />.July 9, 2019 <br />Board of Public Works <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />RE: Vested Interest <br />251 East Sample Street Campus Buildings <br />Phase 2 Roofing Bid Set <br />Project; Vested Interest `City Roof Bid' Architectural Services <br />The scope of work under this proposal is to provide bidding documents to provide <br />new roofs to the Phase 2 portion of the Vested Interest roofing projects. <br />Documents will consist of both CAD drawings of the building areas describing <br />details of the work and completion of City required bid documents with <br />instructions to the bidding contractors. <br />Basic Services <br />The basic services under this proposal include providing: <br />• Overall map of the campus locating each roof involved in phase 2 bid. <br />• Reproducible drawings for the existing building roofs, roof parapets, roof <br />drains, roof penetrations and gutters for each building. <br />• Demolition plan with keynotes. <br />• Improvement roofing plan with material specifications. <br />• Enlarged detail sections for flashing and parapet cap. <br />• Fill out required City Bid documents for advertising compliance. <br />• Complete City general conditions and specifications booklet. <br />• Attend City Pre -Bid meetings to answer questions from contractors. <br />• Weekly site review of work in place for document compliance. <br />Professional Fees <br />The lump sum fee for the Architectural services shall be ( $8,300 ) eight <br />thousand three hundred dollars. <br />Payments will be invoiced at completion of the Bid Documents and are due 35 <br />days from the invoice date. <br />
