Board mot in regular hearing at 7:45 P.M. All members present. ,,�e'aring on The Woodward and Blaine Avenue Grade, Curb and Walk, Under Improvement, Resoluti No 143. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the- above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. Therefore be it resolved that the Board find in each and every ease in said improvements that the benefits to t e property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things are,, confirmed and ap Droved. Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 13th day of June and on the 20th. day of June, 1912 to the effect that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A. M. on the 4th. day of June 1912. The Board reserves the right to rejee*. any and all bids. %3earing given on Condemnation Resolution No. 16. for the purpose of extending Grace St re et pest to Walnut St re et . In the above matter.no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed, there- upoh,being fully advised in the matter the Board takes final action on said resolution confirming without modification, all former action taken on the same. The Board therefore declares the above property in all things condemned and appropriated for pub -lie use, the Board now orders that a° list or roll be prepared of all the owners or holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which said list or roll shall also describe the property. benefiei-- ally affected. ,/Hearing given on Assessment' Roll and Final Estimate for Water Connections on Fellows Street from Monroe Street to Sample Street Under Impm vement Resolution No. 99 in the City of South Bend, Indl ana. No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed, The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rills filed April 16th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed April 16,1912 and the final estimate allowed April 16th. 1912, should be and the same are hereby in all things rat ified,confirmed and approved. On motion duly made and seconded, the following preamble and resolutions were unanimously adopted: WHEREAS. This Board did on the loth. day of January 1912 deem it ex- pedient and of public utility to permanently improve WALNUT STREET between COLFAX AVENUE and LA PORTE AVENUE, by paving the roadway of the same, and did on said date pass and ado adopt a .resolution authorizing said permanent improvement, and WHEREAS. The City Engineer has prepared and filed with this Board a re- port showing the the number and location, as well as the material to be used and the manner of laying the same, of the service* pipes, mains, conduits, laterals and conneetior which are, ,or will be necessary to accommodate the abutting property owners with gas, water, heat, steam or any other product for which any person, firm or corporation had been granted a franchise for supplying the citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Which report is as follow*
