Tqm 9 Board met in regular session at 10 A.m. all members present. Petition received and read petitioning for a Pipe Seaver on Studebaker Streetfrom Lind'on Avenue to Fassna,cht Street the same refered tb�ithe City Engineer for investigation. Gentlemen: - I respectfully report that I have tabulated the bids submitted on March 22,1912 for the paving of Fellows Street and find that Harry N. Barnes if the lowest and best, bidder upon Poston Block Brick laid upon a 6 inch Gravel Foundation. I them fore recommend that he be awarded the contract. Re sp ect fully, W. S.Moore, City Engineer. FINAL RESOLUTION DESIGNATING KIND OF PAVEMENT TO BE LAID. 1 WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana, did J on the 22nd. day of March 1912, enter a preliminary order designating vitrified Brick laid on a gravel foundation, and awarded the contract to Harry N. Barnes, he being the lowest and best bidder upon Poston Block Brick the same to be laid on 6 inch Gravel foundation'on So. Fellow Street from Sample Street to Monroe Street there being no petition filed asking for change of material; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the preliminary order is hereby confirmed and the a- foresaid street is hereby ordered paved with vitrified brick Poston Block Brick.
