.Tuesday March 19th. 1912. Board met in regular session at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Lambert Absent. Bids were opened on the Following pavement improvement, s and referred to the city Engineer for tabulation. No. 17)l 5: No. 131—A. 4 Bond and Contract signed and approved by Hoban the Roach, �-;Cont ra,ct Ore. and the Board of Public Works for the construction of & pAvemO-nt on lst. Alley South of Jefferson Blvd. from Main to Tjafayette Street,Under Improvement Resolution No.122 of the City of South Bend, Indiana Bond and Contract signed and approved by Hoban & Roach,Contractors, and the Board of Public Works _for the conatruction of a pavement on 2nd. alley South of War ne Street from St. Joseph Street to Carroll Street, Tinder Improvement Resolution No.125 in the City of South Bend, Indiana. Board ordered. the Engineer to employe an, extra. dr&ftrm&n :for the i✓ngi.meers officg and the same to be pai-d out of the Engineer's appPopriation, ✓ Permission granted to the Central Union Telephone. Company to replace their present pole at the northeast corner of Navarre Street and Portage. Avenue With a 45ft pole. Approved.. f Agreement made and entered into by the Board of Public Works and, Isaac Gilbert for the purchase of property eiwned by Mr. Gilbert abutting on the extreme present southern extremity of Sherman Avenues the consideration for which was to be .&.net benefit to the aforesaid Isaac Gilbert of :One Hundred (100.00)Doll &rR as it will appear on the Condemnation Resolution on Sherman Avenue that :is to 'o"llow. -Band and Contract signed and approved By The�.We•stern Construction Company and the Board of Public Works for the resurfacing of pavement on South Main.
