RESOLUTION NO. 277 <br />,SOLUTION APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF <br />E FIRST AMENDATORY CONTRACT AMENDING CONTRACT NO. IND. <br />56 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT <br />'REDEVELOPMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR <br />E INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION PROJECT, IND. R -56 - <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing <br />Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The pending proposed First Amendatory Contract (herein <br />called the "Amendatory Contract ") amending that certain Contract No. Ind. <br />R- 56(LG) dated the 31st day of July, 1965 by and between the City of South <br />Bend, Department of Redevelopment ( "herein called the Local Public Agency ") <br />and the United States of America ( "herein called the Government ") is hereby <br />in all respects approved. <br />SECTION 2. The President is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />said Amendatory Contract in two counterparts on behalf of the Local Public <br />Agency, and the Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to impress and <br />attest the official seal of the Local Public Agency on each such counterpart, <br />and the Executive Director is authorized to forward such counterparts to the <br />Departm nt of Housing and Urban Development, for execution on behalf of the <br />Governm nt, together with such other documents relative to the approval and <br />executi n of such counterparts as may be required by the Government. <br />SECTION 3.
