Northern Indiana Crag & fuel Company to put in taps to <br />the curb On All lots On South Fellows street from Mon <br />a not laid. ,roe to Sample Street where sane <br />IMPROVEMENT RE-)OLUTION NO- 132. <br />-RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described <br />public improvements in the aforesaid Cit"r as authorized by the foilowing numbered im- <br />provement resolution adopted by said. Board on the- 12th. day of Jarivary 1912. <br />Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind si%e, location and term <br />inal points as follows: To improve Lafayette Street from Navarre Street to Foote Stree <br />By grading and Paving the roadway, also P-rading and paving the roadway of intersecting <br />and ente�ring streets and alleys lying within said portion -of said Lafayette Street not <br />included in the roadway to be improved, with Asphalt, Bitillithic, Brick or Creosoted <br />Wooden Block, laid on a five (5) inch Portland cement gravel conireto foundation, from <br />curb line, to curb line, curbing the roadway with 6 X 7 X 16 inch concrete curb where <br />not already constructed, also the construction of cement sidewalks on both sides of <br />the ",saidt'Street2 Placing the necessary cement mrina,l curb, the construction of the <br />recessary storm water inlets all as sho-m. on the plans, and in accordance with the <br />profilesi.detail drawings and, specifications on file in the Office of the Department <br />of Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered. <br />Said -improvements shall be known and desi,�;nated as LAFAYETTE STREET <br />PAVEMENT ) CEMENT WALK, AND CFAAENT CURB IMPROVP3(ENT RESOLUTION No. 132. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 5th. day of Feb-miar; <br />iand. on the 12th. day of February 1912, in the South Bend Daily Times. <br />Said Board has fixed the 8th. day of March 1912 as a date upon which <br />renionstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected d public <br />improvements and on said OaY at 7:15 P.M.office said Board will at its said Oice hear and <br />consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property in affected by sail <br />public ipprovement And will decide whether the benefits that will accrue to the pro- <br />perty, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, <br />will be <br />equal to,, or exceed the estimated cost of the Proposed improvements, as estimated by <br />the City Civil Engineer. <br />A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the contractor in payment of 'such work where the pro- <br />perty owner signs waiver required, as according to law..
