Hickey & Company Building permit for the construction of building at #315 Vistula Avenue to February 24th. 1912. ,-,Petition for Pipe Sewer on Olive Street fron Kaley School House to Michigan Avenue referred to City Engineer. v1 Petition for va cation of sixteen (16) feet of the present Kalarama St from Turnock Street to Alley West of dill Street by the vacation of <.ight feet off of each side of street. Referred to the City Engineer. Petition for return of payment ma de on sewer tap on Sanple Street by C. C. Kyle Referred - to the City Engineer for investigation. Partial estimate allowed L. -T. Webster on the Portage & Angela Avenue Sewer of $1494.29 .-Communication received from M-Ichigan Central R. R. regarding planKing of Portage Ave. Viaduct. Same referred to Street Commissioner. I ,/Street Commissioner requested the Board to buy a force pump to be used in the cleaning of sewers. The same was referred to the City Engineer to get prices on same. IMPROVO4ENT RESOLUTION NO 111. ✓RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS of THE CITY OF SOUTH BE ID? INDIANA, That it is desired and deemed necessary to make the following described public im- provenents in the aforesaid city as authorized by the following numbered improvement Resolution adopted by said Board on the 22nd. day of December 1911, RESOLVED that an improvement be made of the Kind, size, location and termin6tl points an follows: That it is deemed necessary to construct a sewer on Elwood ave from the Center of Portage Ave. West along the center line of st--Lid, Elwwod Ave., a distance of 950 feet. Beginning at the center of Portage Ave,, and Elwood Ave. thence west along the center line of Elwood Ave a distance of 950 feet to a point opposite the Muessel Brew rin, q Companies Bottling Building with a 12" vetrified newer pipe. Together with the house connections to the curb line along the line of said improvement. And such improvement is norr ordered. Detail Drawings, plans , profiles and specifications are on file and may be seen at the office of said Board and all work in the making of said Public Improvemen must be done in accordance therewith. Said Improvements shall be known and designated mated as ELWOOD AVE. LATERAL S', SEWER. NOTICE 0-9 TITTS RESOLUTION shall be published on the 26th. day of December 1911 and on the 2nd. day of January 1912 in the South Bent Daily Times. Said Board has fixed the 12td. day of January.:1912 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by persons interested or affected by said Public, Improvements And on said day at 7:15 P.M. said Board will at its -aid office hear and consider any remonstrators and person interested or whose property is affected by said Public improvement and will decide whit whether the benefits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed impnovements and to said City, will be equal to, or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer, .A Bond or Bonds to be issued to the Contractor in p&yment of such work w ere the property owner signs waiver required, as'according to law. Which said Bonds shall bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable as provided by law. Adopted December 22nd. 1911. President.
