Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion <br /> which carried by a voice vote of eight (8) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> BILL NO. <br /> 19-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, HONORING THE <br /> LIFE OF A GREAT MAN, ROBERT L. MILLER, <br /> SR. <br /> Councilmember Jake Teshka, 2419 Chesire Drive, South Bend, IN, served as a presenter for this <br /> bill. Councilmember Jake Teshka stated, I would like to thank members of Miller's Vets for being <br /> here tonight to honor Judge Miller's life. Also, Judge Miller's son, Bob Junior, and his <br /> granddaughter, Amanda, are here as well. Judge Miller was someone I always looked up to and <br /> his impact on the community was too great to even capture in just one(1)resolution,as I think our <br /> Attorney Bob Palmer can attest to. He served our country in World War Two (II) in the Navy and <br /> he also served his local community. His hands were in a list of things here locally that goes on, <br /> 1 <br />
