RESOLUTION NO. 256 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE BID <br />OF BOWER HOMES, INCORPORATED, FOR LAND IN THE <br />LASALLE PARK URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT, IND. R -57 <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has offered <br />certain parcels of land within the LaSalle Park Urban Renewal Project <br />at public offering on April 11, 1969, among which was Parcel No. 15 -17; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has received a <br />bid in writing from Bower Homes, Inc., 14009 Jefferson Road, Mishawaka, <br />Indiana, for Parcel No. 15 -17, in the amount of $619.00, which is not <br />less than the amount determined by the Redevelopment Commission to be <br />the fair market value for said parcel; and <br />WHEREAS, Bower Homes, Inc., intends to develop on said land a <br />single family residential unit in accordance with the Urban Renewal <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission determines <br />tha it would be in the best interest of the objectives of the Urban <br />Ren al Plan and the appropriate method of disposition to approve <br />the bid of Bower Homes, Inc., for said parcel. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the South Bend Redevelop- <br />ment Commission accepts and approves the bid received for the afore- <br />mentioned parcel as follows: <br />Parcel No. Bidder Square Footage Price <br />15-17 Bower Homes, Inc. 7,800 $619.00 <br />Adopted at the regular meeting of the Redevelopment Commission held <br />on Parch 7, 1969, at the Office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle <br />Avenue, Suite 1001, South Bend, Indiana. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />i <br />•z <br />G' <br />Uo-dald A.
